the big gain

Hey all it's Weigh-In Wednesday... and I gained. Ugh.

I gained 2.5lbs.

I'd love to say "oh I don't know why I gained..."

I do know why... I'd be really on top of my eating, saying how I was going to get back on track, and then I'd see some chips or want a piece of pizza and I'd eat them. In the past I've been able to have some "bad" food and still lose or at least maintain. I think that in a way has hurt me, because I keep trying to push the limit of it. Obviously I ate too much "bad" food this week and did not have enough healthy good for me food.

I am not going to say I am getting back on track, because every time I do that lately it seems like I hit some imaginary wall and self sabotage.

Instead I will say I will try harder, I will try harder today to track each point I eat. I hope next week I can come back and say I have lost that 2.5lbs that I gained.

weigh in and a yummy snack idea!

It's was weigh in yesterday, this week I happily maintained.

I haven't been super strict about what I'm eating. I try to stay with the serving size of the food, but a lot of the time I have been guesstimating...which isn't the best way to do it.

Yesterday and today I have been getting back on track, tracking all of the food I am eating and trying to eat clean.

Speaking of eating clean... I have discovered the most amazing snack! They're fake Lara Bars (I've never had the real ones) from Chocolate Covered Katie. If you haven't checked out her page you really should, so many great, delicious and HEALTHY desserts!! I made the Cashew Cookie Lara Bar, today I am going to mix it up and try to make one with coconut, almonds and dates, maybe some chocolate too.

Weigh in a few days late

Hey everyone!

Sorry I've been MIA recently. I've been visiting family and have been very busy.

Weigh in went surprisingly great this week! I'm now 151.5 pounds!!!!!! That's 1.5lbs down!!

I'm not sure how it happened since this past week I had been eating a lot of take out and not making the best choices. I did however drink a lot of water. My mom and I made this lemon, cucumber and basil infused water.. so delicious!! I'll put up the exact recipe up soon.

The first picture is from yesterday at 151.5 lbs, the second picture was taken in October 2012 I weighed 171 lbs. Just about 20 lbs lost!
 
Sometimes I feel that its weird that the same dress fits me even though I've lost almost 20lbs since I first wore it, but then I have to remind myself that, it fits better, is roomier and I didn't have to wear Spanx to feel okay wearing it!! I'm still amazed that I have been wearing dresses without Spanx or tights underneath and feeling comfortable. I'm all about those little victories!
 
I also finished my 2nd month of Brazil Butt Lift, I'll post the results of that soon.

Weigh-In Wednesday

I should change the name of "weigh-in Wednesday" and change it to "maintain Wednesday". Maintained again this week!

I know I should be so happy that I didn't gain, and I am, but it would have been nice to lose some weight...it's been a long time since I've lost weight.

As always I am the one to blame, I was doing really well with my monthly May Healthy Eating Challenge .... then I had a few drinks last night, I didn't eat any food that was not on my plan, but I had 2 drinks. We were celebrating my fiancé's birthday, so I guess I'm allowed to cheat a little?

I had a lot of fun though so I feel like it was worth it, I just need to push myself harder this week so that I will lose!!
